Assistance to self-employed persons and sole proprietor limited liability companies without other income
This support is focused on self employed persons that have interrupted or limited their operations while maintaining the trade license and were not insured through Social security (because they did not have such an obligation), under the condition that they have no income (from entrepreneurial, non-entrepreneurial activities or from employment, including income from pensions), from 13.03.2020.
Applicants for the contribution can only be a self employed person, who started their business activities no later than from 01.02.2020. This support also applies to natural persons who are the sole shareholders and executives of a limited liability company (s.r.o.) while not being its employees (it is so-called single-person s.r.o.), and they are not shareholders of another s.r.o.
Eligible applicant must have profit after tax for the last completed accounting period, which ended no later than 31 December 2019, not exceeding EUR 9,600 and the cumulative turnover at least EUR 2,400. If the applicant started the operations during year 2019, the figures are calculated as average for the actual months of operation.
The support is EUR 105 for March and EUR 210 for April and May.
The application for March 2020 must be submitted by 15.05.2020. An applicant who submits an application for the month of April or May shall submit an application by the end of the calendar month following the calendar month in which the applicant applies for the allowance.
The applicant submits the application to the locally competent labor office.
