Support for employers (including self-employed employers) who had to close their operations on the basis of a decision of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic (primarily in terms of OLP / 2595/2020 and OLP / 2777/2020)

The support is aimed at employers, including self-employed persons, with the exception of public administration entities, that will maintain jobs at the time of the emergency situation, state of emergency and state of crisis.

The target group is an employee who was employed before 1 March 2020 and is in an employment relationship, to which the employer or the self-employed employer cannot assign work due to an obstacle on the part of the employer, from 13 March 2020. The amount of support is the payment of the compensation of an employee’s wage in the amount of 80% of his / her average earnings, but not more than EUR 1,100.

The support shall not be granted if another form of support has been awarded to cover the cost of the employee’s work. Applications must be submitted to the local Labour office. Applications for March are due at the end of April. More information is available at: pomahameludom.sk
