Andrea is a graduate of Comenius University in Bratislava (Mgr., 2012). She started her IP law practice in 2017 at Brichta&Partners, where she has been an associate since 2020.Prior to joining the firm, she gained experience in advocacy and strategic litigation in the development, enforcement and implementation of migration, asylum and integration policy in the Slovak Republic.
- Representing clients, multinational companies from the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and clothing industries, in litigation concerning infringement of intellectual property rights and protection of rights against unfair competition. Representing clients in alternative domain dispute resolution proceedings.
- Elaborating analyses in connection with setting procedural strategies in litigation, as well as strategic advice on out-of-court settlement of disputes arising in the field of intellectual property rights.
- Active participation in financial administration trainings aimed at providing up-to-date information on methodologies and tools used in counterfeit detection.
- Strategic advice on the territorial extension of IPR protection and comprehensive management of IPR portfolios in client projects covering all major economic regions of the world.
