BRICHTA & PARTNERS was founded by its founding partner JUDr. Július Brichta in 1990 after the fall of the Iron Curtain enabled the establishment of free advocacy in Slovakia.

Complaints beore the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg
Our law firm has represented more than 300 clients in 17 class-actions lawsuits before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg concerning compensation for owners of rent-regulated properties. As a result of our work, clients have been paid financial compensation exceeding tens of millions of euros. This ECtHR decision confirmed that the state had been violating our clients' fundamental human rights, ultimately leading to changes in legislation.

Collaboration with the renowned Slovak biotech incubator Lifbee for scientists
In cooperation with Lifbee, we provide legal support in setting up relationships between the incubator and its participants, including the transfer of IP rights and ensuring their future use in newly established projects. Our team members also give lectures on selected intellectual property topics and take part in various panel discussions during the incubation phase.
Transparent digitalization of society – Slovensko.Digital
Since the establishment of the non-profit platform Slovensko.Digital, we have been providing legal services to IT professionals in support of their mission – overseeing and improving the quality of the state’s digital services.
