Junior Attorney (Junior Advokát / Advokátka) M&A, VC a investičné transakcie

We are seeking a colleague for the position of Junior Attorney (Junior Advokát/Advokátka) to join our M&A and VC Team This position offers an exciting opportunity for a junior attorney with an interest in the following legal disciplines:

• Elaborating and negotiating on complex investment contract documents for the needs of the Venture Capital Funds, target companies etc.
• Elaborating commercial contractual documentation for both start-ups and established companies.
• Ongoing legal advice to our national,international clients, to start-up companies and their investors.
• Focus on corporate law (LLC law, stock corporation law), reorganization law and related areas of law.

This role involves working in a structured, medium-sized team on multiple projects at various stages of development. On an interim basis, self-managing sub-teams are formed under the oversight of a senior attorney for specific tasks. The position combines independent work, teamwork, planning, and client communication. It provides an excellent foundation for potential specialization in commercial law subcategories and holistic development in commercial law.

Solid experience in commercial and contractual law, along with an excellent command and fluency in the English language, is essential.

‍

Additional experience in M&A and VC/private equity investments is an advantage.

Our Commercial Law Department is divided into three separate teams: the General Commercial Law Team, the Compliance Law Team, and the M&A and VC Team. These teams cooperate at multiple levels and cross-sell their services to the clients based on the required expertise. The same applies to cross-selling with the IP Law Department.

• As a Junior Attorney in the M&A and VC team, you will manage cases independently and be fully responsible for assigned clients.
• You will be responsible for handling commercial and corporate law matters.
• You will counsel clients on investment relations in VC and M&A (investment contracts, shareholder agreements).
• You will negotiate transactions and oversee their successful management.
• You will be the main point of contact for clients, which include investment funds and innovative start-ups from the technology sector.

Remuneration starting at 2500 EUR/month (depending on the experience and the years of practice) Attractive additional evaluation (on top of monthly renumeration) based on achieved results.
